- Jeannie is the youngest of ten children. Only three survived.
- She spent the first 8 years of her life in a plastic bubble, and kept herself occupied by learning to juggle syringes, IV bags, and later on, even bedpans.
- Jeannie first appeared on-stage in a 1983 school production as the Virgin Mary, and later that same year, as Walter Kronkite, demonstrating her extreme versatility at an early age.
